Founded in the summer of 2020, the Gustav Mahler Research Centre Postgraduate Forum provides a platform for postgraduate researchers and early career Mahler scholars to develop innovative research, build community, and share resources, experiences and best practice. The Postgraduate Forum is comprised of a community of PhD and Early Career Researchers from European universities and Higher Education institutions, whose research tackles and unearths new and transformative approaches to investigating the life and works of Gustav Mahler.

Despite existing under the umbrella of the Gustav Mahler Research Centre, we act as an independent forum that focuses specifically on the PGR and ECR experience in academia, with the goal of developing international, lasting connections with other early career Mahler scholars and to provide a safe and inclusive community for the sharing of research.

To learn more about our proposed initiatives and actions for the Forum, please see our ‘Mission’ page. If you would like to get in touch or be involved with the Forum, please fill in the form on ‘Contact Us’ page. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our community.
